Really good burgers...Hungry Hunter is so dang delicious. Great atmosphere, friendly service. I recommend it to everyone. Eat here when in Alpine.

I have traveled all over the United States in the past 40 plus years as a contract welder and I happened to be passing through on my way to Holbrook, Arizona and stopped to grab something to eat. I ordered a bacon hamburger to go. I have to say that was THE BEST burger and fries I have ever had. After I got back to south Texas, I told my wife I have to make that trip again I hope she can go with me just to stop and SIT and have a meal. Loved that burger, damn I still haven't stopped thinking about it. It truly was amazing.

Great food. Fresh cut french fries, crisp fresh salad, perfectly cooked burger with fresh fixings. Especially impressive food and service considering the fairly remote location. This is my 6th or 7th visit since last November. Great every time. Oh yea, get some pie to go. It’s great too!

Great food and service! My wife and I stopped in around 4pm and were treated like family. All the staff were great especially the wait staff behind the bar. The restaurant side was not open so we ate in the bar area which had more atmosphere and didn't feel like a bar. My wife had the patty melt and I had the popcorn shrimp basket along with an Oak Creek beer. This is what I expect from a small town bar/grill/restraint. If you're looking for a down home small town family vibe, check this place out. OH!!! If you are an 80's kid like me you will LOVE the wall of pinball machines!!!

Wow. I think I just had the best cod sandwich of my life in this little town. The fish was incredibly fresh and their tartar sauce was even homemade. Service was very efficient and fast for me unlike some of the other patrons have noted. Food came out in 5 minutes. Great atmosphere, live music.
